OUR TEACHER

Alison Ballard – Alison has been teaching physie at Mermaid Beach for 9 years, and instructs all classes from 4 years through to ladies. A five-time state champion, and eight time national placegetter, Alison has been doing physie for 25 years. Her dedication, passion and attention to detail shines through in all her classes. Alison is a regular national level judge, and has had the honour of judging the prestigious Senior National Finals at the Sydney Opera House. Alison has now taught an amazing seven individual Australian Champions, including a Ladies Overall Grand Champion.

Hayley Whitehouse - Hayley helps teach the 5 years to 1st year seniors. Hayley is the current Individual State Champion for her age group. Hayley’s amazing teaching and leadership skills see her get the best out of all her students.

Erin Walton – Erin assists with the 4 years – 1st year seniors. Erin is also a current State Champion and has been doing physie since she could walk! Erin’s beautiful gentle nature is displayed in her encouraging teaching, and the girls adore their ‘Miss Erin’.

Mia Taylor – Mia assists with 9-12 year classes, and stretch and strength class. Mia is a two-time national champion! Her amazing eye for physie and raport with all girls is a wonderful asset to the Mermaid Beach Club.

Elyse Gregory – 2012 is Elyse’s first year of assistant teaching! We welcome Elyse to the team and look forward to seeing her fantastic physie knowledge and ability shared with the Mermaid girls. Elyse is the current National Champion for her age group.

Annie Holland- we are lucky enough to have Annie Holland assisting with ladies classes. Annie has a lifetime of physie teaching experience and her eye for detail is put to great use in our large class of ladies.
